French Louis Bureau / Writing Desk

This charming vintage oak bureau has been shipped over from Belgium and features pretty carved details throughout. 

Refinished to a high standard with a good quality furniture paint in a beige / grey. A white glaze has then been applied over the top to add a softness whilst highlighting the details. Fully varnished for protection.

The interior has been sanded back, removing the old varnish and a wash of the beige has been used to soften the colour of the original wood. 

There are two smooth sliding drawers for extra storage space. 

The original hardware has been cleaned and sprayed in a delicate champagne gold.

The original key with a new tassel is provided.

Overall in excellent condition for it’s old age! A very charming piece of furniture which would grace any space in your home!
